If King Auther was Welsh why does he have an easy to pronounce name?

It was quite common for the children of high ranking locals to be taken to Rome and be raised as Roman citizens, then returned to their homes when they reach adulthood and are ready to take over for their fathers. More than likely the original Arthur was called Arturus or something similar.
