GW Bush's Lack of Courage
« on: December 06, 2006, 03:22:42 PM »
On the heels of the Congressional elections and the report of the Iraq Study Group, and pending hopefully honest and forthright assessments by the NSC staff, the State Department and the Pentagon, one would expect President Bush to get the message: you screwed it up and we need a new course. However the policy determinations play out hereinafter, it should be clear to all that Bush should acknowledge his arrogant bumbling and clear the decks for a "fresh start." I see this as essential for making the policy break that is needed, but also to establish a workable degree of political unity going forward. All it takes is courage, Mr. President, and elevation of the national (and global) good to the highest priority, damn your preconceptions and personal failings.

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.
