Because you still can provide sums of money anonymously.  Because you still can hide sums of money in vaguely sounding PACs.  Because you still can't provide any amount you want to any candidate you want.  Because we still have CFR

Wasn't it you claiming California was lost because of the financial superiority of its unions in controlling the debate?

Yea, and??  IIRC, union members have truckloads of hoops to try and go tru, not to mention the pressure of other members, when trying to avoid having their dues taken to pay for union causes and Democrats.  Yet another inhibition to the privatization of financing.  Union members should be allowed to have their dues go anywhere they want, and have go thru the hoops if they WANT it to go to Union Leadership and the purchase of Democrats
