I can see this as being useful in some cases but should not be used to treat the result of a condition that said condition could or should be repaired. In other words, pain happens for a reason and if you remove the reason for it then the pain should go away. If you can't remove the reason for the pain this technology would be highly beneficial. Certainly better than drugs because drugs have so many side effects that they mostly cause more serious problems for the patient than the initial reason for taking them, i.e. the person gets hooked or destroys their liver in trying to relieve back pain and discomfort.

actually that problem already exist. I normally with pain everyday, but got so used to I barely notice it. the people at the hospital had a difficult time trying to findout whats wrong with me because of it. they keep mistaken the morphine is taking hold,but it`s really me concentrating .

Many highly paid athletes pay the price later in life for the abuse their bodies take. I guess that could be said for drug addicts too though.

after an injury it`s looks very usefull, during a game-nothing good will come of it. it no different than cortoid steroids and it will increase the chance of serious injury. it can definately be a career killer

I think I understand , the better this works to block the pain, the more likely a player is to aggrivate a fresh injury.

I think it`s use to shorten recovery time. it`ll be use when the player is in physical therapy

If you break a bone, pain tells you not to put pressure on that bone. That is a useful thing.

If you have pain due to arthritis, eliminating the pain is not going to result in more arthritis or further harm.

 Granting that pain is very usefull, there are a lot of people who have more pain than they really need.

   If this turns out to be safe and reliable, I predict big sales for this product.

the problem it if you keep using you won`t know when you get serious hurt, like me when I thought I could sleep off my anerysm. a very serious close call there

There is no danger to removing pain from a leg cramp or arthritis, for example.
