I can't say I hate Fox. I do not represent any opinion but my own. I am not a spokesman for "liberals", however you define them.

I like the Simpsons, House and Bones, they are on Fox.

I don't normally watch Fox "News", because I do not have cable. I know I have mentioned this before.  I simply ignore it. It IS my right to ignore crap I dislike, is it not?

Occasionally, I see some particular bit of Foxcrap online, or in a hotel when I travel. It is unimpressive and obviously designed for ignorant people lacking in the ability to think critically. It sort of reminds me of Granma, the Cuban Official newspaper, except one cannot wipe one's butt with Fox "News", or wrap a fish in it.

I don't go to McDonald's when I need a pair of shoes, and I don't go to Fox for news.
I do not have cable, so i do not watch CNN, and I find PBS does a better job of reporting the news, if for no other reason than they deliver 55 minutes in an hour, and the other networks deliver 22 minutes.

It is true that Fox "News" is designed for the less intelligent and, above all, the less informed.

I fail to see the point. I disagree that he was fired because of racism. But 55 minutes of the news is bound to be better than 22 minutes with annoying commercial interruptions.

Oh that's right he was fired for not being liberal enough...

I am glad you like news that is made up for the liberal point of view.

There is no proof that it is made for any point of view. NPR always presents both sides of every issue, with representatives answering the same questions, and in far more detail than they do on the other networks.

I think they toned down jack atouch though. I still like it or I just miss the show. not sure.
 I want to see jack try to pick up on the CIA agent and creep him out.but this is america so I guess thats out.

There is nothing non-factual in this piece.

And this is an OPINION piece, anyway. If you want the "other side", such as it is, just google Beck.

Chomsky has been quoted on NPR in a few stories.

The thing is that Chomsky's goal is not to attract any sort of mass movement. Chomsky never organized a rally in DC as Beck did.

If Chomsky did the outrageous crap that Beck did, then I imagine that NPR would report on it.

He hasn't, so they haven't.

And again NPR news clearly labels news as news and commentary as commentary. The main advantage of NPR News is that it provides 55 minutes uninterrupted coverage, rather than 22 minutes punctuated by ads.
