Three separate locations were struck by explosions during the rush hour of Wednesday,
July 13,  in India's financial capital: the crowded Dadar, hub for millions of commuters,
the famed jewelry market and the Opera House business district. Three years ago,
terrorists besieged the city killing 166 people. The Indian Home Ministry spokesman
said it was too early to comment on the nature and cause of the blasts. Workers who
had not yet left their offices were advised not to venture out.

It is pretty clear that not all Muslims are peaceful. You can say the same about Christians, who were once much worse.
The prize for the most peaceful religion for the past 50 years must go to the Buddhists, Taoists, Confuscianists and Shintoists.

My plan would be to destroy those trying to destroy us,
just like has been done throughout human history during war.

Yes India has had a "Muslim Problem" longer than many of us.
If Muslims are on a non-Muslim country's border....
you can bet there will most likely be huge problems.
I wouldn't shed too many tears if India grew tired and nuked Pakistan.

Yeah but the analogy doesn't work.

That's like saying Charles Manson broke the law & most people have broke the law.

Sure most people may get a speeding ticket,
but it's insanity to pretend its anywhere near the same.

So yes not all Muslims and all Christians are peaceful,
but there is no other religion in today's world...ya know the one we live in
that have people killing mass amounts of people in the name of the religion
like Islam has today. Sure Christians hundreds of years ago may have done
this or that....but we live in 2011....and Muslims in the name of their religion
are in the world headlines daily killing, bombing, maiming, and targeting
innocent civilians in numbers unlike any other religion today.

So, what is your solution?

Arrest all Muslims? Arrest all Pakistani Muslims?

Do you think that constantly blathering about attacks by foreign Muslims in foreign countries will have any effect whatever on stopping this violence?

It is pretty clear that only a small number of Pakistani Muslims are attacking India. There have been hundreds of attacks of Muslims by Hindus and vice-versa in Kashmir since 1947.  This is an Indian problem and a Pakistani problem and will be resolved or continue based on what the governments of India and Pakistan do to prevent it. The US cannot change this behavior, and you, as an American citizen can only post the same tired nonsense again and again. You could go bomb a mosque in a neighborhood near you in retaliation, but that would simply cause more problems.

It takes a period of time before religion-based problems are resolved. Buddhism was pacifist from the start. Christianity inherited the idea that it was the only One and True religion from the Jews, who thought their deity was the only real one in existence.

Islam inherited its intolerance from Judaism. There is only one God and everything He wants you to know and believe is in this one book. That shows intolerance for any other view of the universe and man's place in it.

Since he can't effect anything here unless you mean vote out Obama. That would be the best plan for improving a lot of things.

Voting against Obama will in no way prevent Pakistani fanatics from attacking India.

It does not matter to them who is president of the US.

The only plan would involve a successful negotiation which would probably divide Kashmir, which has a Muslim majority and ended up in India in the partition because its rajah was Hindi and the Indians had more and better arms.

An independent or divided Kashmir is the key to peace. A plebiscite among the people of Kashmir would be the way to resolve this but India rejects
 it.

First a plebiscite to determine if Kashmir would continue being a part of India, and then a second to determine whether it should be independent or a part of Pakistan.

That would be my plan. Both India and Pakistan would reject it in all or in part, and that is the problem.

This is not due to Islam being violent. It is die to a small number of Muslims being terrorists.

The root cause is Kashmir.
