ARE  WE  IN  A  BAD  WAY   -   FORGET  ABOUT  GREECE

Here is why S&P downgraded the US credit rating

U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000 Trillions
Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000 Trillions
New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000 Trillions
National debt: $14,271,000,000,000 Trillions
Recent budget cut: $ 38,500,000,000 Billions     1/1,000 of a Trillion

Now let's remove zeros and pretend it's your household budget.

Annual family income: $21,700
Annual Money the family spent: $38,200
Annual New debt on the credit card: $16,500
Total Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
Total budget cuts: $385
Could you get more credit if this were your story?

Very nice.....I'd add a zero to each lower set, but the point remains quite substantiated.  Also keep in mind, none of us have a machine that simply prints more money to cover those debts, nor can we legally confiscate it from the Jones and the Smiths, down the block.
