If you could punch a liberal or conservative stranger in the mouth with no chance of repercussions would you do it?

i dont make a habit of punching anyone repercussions or not
but if i did.... it would only be a bully i would consider punching
and it wouldnt matter if they were a conservative or a liberal
but to answer your question....no (unless it was a bully still being a prick after warnings)

There is never any reason for violence in a discussion. It proves only that the aggressor is incapable of being civil.

There is never any reason for violence in a discussion.

he didnt ask about a "discussion"
but sometimes a discussion can lead to more
like if someone is mistreating an elderly person or a child
one time years ago i saw some punks pissing on an old homeless guy on the side of a 7/11
i said "hey whatz up...why ya'll jacking with this old helpless feller?"
they laughed and said "mind your own f-ing business"
i said "being human is my f-ing business"
so i dialed 911....the loud mouth punk approached me and said "now i'm gonna piss on you"
so i punched him in the jaw as hard as I could and said "the hell you are". even hurt my hand!
they scattered like rats.....the cops arrived 20 mins later
sometimes a mans gotta do what he's gotta do

The original topic was about punching people of a different political persuasion, presumably because of said political persuasions.

Defending helpless people being picked on is not related to politics, at least it isn't to me.

How brutal could a cop be to someone and get away with it?

I suppose I'd try to get a badge number and take a photo or video if I could, but dealing with an armed cop, that would be difficult.
