If half a dozen fighters dressed as women have to kill themselves to kill one lowly employee of the US, and kill a dozen bystanders in the process, then they can call that a success, for some rather low standard of success.
When we leave Afganistan it will resume its status as one of the worlds poorest nations , and I trust that most of the money we gift to them will be hiring soldiers and constructing fortresslike oficial residences.
But I go along with BHO on this one, waiting on Afganistan to become perfect before we leave would mean never leaving. Killing Osama Bin Laden and devistateing the Al Queda accomplishes most of what we needed and wanted .
The citizens of Afganistan are not children, we should let them run their own house soon as possible because sooner is enough better than later to make putting up with the diffrence from perfection a good idea.
