Identifying the existence of security vulnerabilities and understanding the techniques used by attackers to exploit them, is becoming one of the greatest challenges facing all organisations.

Vulnerabilities are by their very nature ubiquitous, and, contrary to some believes, are inherent within both private and publicly available software.

It is because of this reason that Computer Terrorism (UK) has established a dedicated team of vulnerability specialists whose sole purpose is to continuously research, quantify and advise on the latest digital threats.

Working closely with Vendors and their respective clients, our researches have helped foster the elimination of many High Risk vulnerabilities, and actively contribute responsibly to the worldwide vulnerability scene.

I typically teach a class each summer on Information Security where we cover many aspects of this subject. It is well-attended. We use a lot of software tools which show how easy it is to penetrate defenses, etc.

It is possible , depending mostly on how I am progressing on my Degree.

And also on whatever elese is demanding my time.

What do you think of the potential for large government agencys to use hacking tecniques to disrupt the economy of opponents ?
I understand that this has already happened inbetween Israel and some of its neighbors and between China and the US but it has been a mostly manageable phenominon so far .

Is there a potential for internet borne disruption to crash something we really need ?
