i bet you are eating wheat at almost every single meal knowingly or unknowingly.
even canned veggies have wheat products in them.

====================================================
How  much wheat is going to be in a can of stewed tomatoes or a can of beans?

I have no wheat allergies.  I actually do not care about trace amounts of wheat. You have wheat paranoia: I do not.

not long ago I looked why eating fruit not process sugar is good for people. the ultimate answer is concentration of sugar.

true trace amounts of gluten maybe in foods , but does the research support those trace amount are harmful for people ?

I stick to the outer rim of the supermarket. Away from the processed foods. Fresh veggies, fruits, poultry, fish, etc.

Good deal....I agree...fresh, real, unprocessed food as much as possible.
Smart choices.....we all do the best we can....me, you, XO.

The problem is that Americans in general are not eating just "trace amounts" of gluten.
In fact that exact opposite is true.
Too many Carbs/wheat/gluten is making us have lots of health problems.

No, I think I'm going to report you to the anti-anti-wheat_belly commission.

This shouldn't be too much of a concern in te near future. I read somewhere thier is less wheat production due it becoming a low profit product and going toward corn. So food manufactures are likely gonna not add as much gluten since it's not gonna be worth it fr them moneywise.

I know this:you cannot make decent gazpacho with the fresh tomatoes sold in the US. If you put Spanish tomatoes in a blender, the puree is RED and tastes like tomatoes. US tomatoes come out pink and taste more or less like cardboard. Gumbo comes out tasting great with canned stewed tomatoes: with fresh tomatoes, there is no tomato taste.

There is nothing on the label that indicates any wheat product: usually onion powder, sugar and salt.

Italian canned tomato paste seems to be best, though US canned tomatoes are also acceptable.
