There will be no impeachment
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:23:04 PM »
Obama could be on record selling nuclear codes to Russia, but he wouldn't be impeached.  Despite that he deserves far more than Clinton & Nixon combined, he'll never be impeached, based on the fact that as the 1st African American to be elected as President, no one wants the label of trying to impeach the 1st African American president.  The racist accusations would be flying so furiously, that the ricochet's would likely kill some pundits.  So, no, there'll be no attempt to try and impeach Obama, and never will be.  He has a buit in immunity bubble for that.  Which is sad, but true, in todays world of overt PC

It was a stupid idea to impeach Clinton as well: it cost millions and distracted the President from doing his job. The Republicans are really stupid: they shut down the government once, and had to drum the Newtster out of Congress and the speakership. But they tried it a second time and made fools of themselves again. There is nothing they could impeach President Obama for in which Congress was not a greater accomplice, and they do noit and never will have the votes. And if they succeeded, they would gain President Biden.

Yea, it should be just fine that a sitting President break our laws and completely ignore his Constitutional parameters/limits.  Oh wait, that'd be an Aristocracy.   ::)    As I said, it only costed millions by the ongoing stonewalling and delayining tactics.  Then the Dems complain of how much money and time said investigation(s) are taking......priceless

It is a waste of money to fund Darryl Issa's moronic hearings, just as it was a waste of money to fund Starr's hearings on Clinton, which had nothing whatever to do with Whitewater.

Of course it is...because it's being run by a Republican and currently aimed at Democrats.  It'd be wholly appropriate & justified, if the roles were reversed.   ::)

Breaking the law is still breaking the law, and just because you're the President doesn't mean you get to function above & outside the law......unless of course you're the 1st African American President

Yes and it was also stupid to threaten Richard M. Nixon with impeachment.

And Nixon was stupid to save the nation a billion dollars by not fighting the indictment.

Nixon hired burglars to subvert the election process, and those who proposed to impeach him had him dead to rights and had the votes to win. It is a different case altogethewr.

This just means that the Watergate Affair was much less serious than the IRS scandal or the Bengazi killings.

     And Dead to rights?

Could be , but millions are being spent on the coverup.

Nixon hired burglars to subvert the election process,

And Obama gave the go ahead for the IRS to subvert the election process

and those who proposed to impeach him had him dead to rights and had the votes to win.

That's because the Republicans didn't circle the party partisan wagons.  Nor was Nixon, Black

It is a different case altogethewr.

Yea, this is far worse that anything Nixon supposedly did

There is no touche.

Which means there must have been an absolute touche'   8)

Nixon was deserted in droves by members of his own party.

This IRS stuff is just crap. it was clearly about political advocacy groups being disallowed for tax breaks,  which they should not be given in any case. There is no evidence that it changes the outcome of any election.

It was clear that Nixon broke the law and there would be the votes to get him deposed. Whatever you assume that Obama did, there are not the votes to remove him, and that is why he will serve out his entire term.

You keep making my point.  They didn't cirle the partisan party wagons.  And despite Obama having apparently been behind something far more nefarious, the wagons couldn't be tighter, nut just by Dems, but by the MSM as well

This IRS stuff is just crap.

It's only "crap", because it helped get Obama relected.  You'd be going apesnot, if Bush or Romeny were behind this, and everything was being run by the GOP.  This event was far worse than what got Nixon impeached.  This was not some stooges working to mess up some DC Democrats who didn't support the President, this was an actual arm of the Government, trying to mess up things for Americans who didn't support the President

It was clear that Nixon broke the law

And what law was that, exactly?

Whatever you assume that Obama did, there are not the votes to remove him, and that is why he will serve out his entire term.

And what part of the title and opening comments did you not understand?  There will be no impeachment

So, I cannot even AGREE with you without being accused of getting it wrong.

That is why I do not want to discuss stuff with you, sirs.... because you are a schmuck. Every reply is nasty.

You'll be sure to let me know when you actually dispense with the immature name calling, and actually make an effort to "discuss" anything political

You have no political opinions that are in any way coherent or even original. Just a bunch of lame mumblings about how the world is unfair to morons of the right.
