With all due respect Kimba, I see people polluting every day. The Freeways have never looked worse, although there are nicer murals. That said, as a country, we've never been "cleaner", as in the mechanisms and technology that have gone into making businesses & production companies function far more effective in curbing emissions & gases. I can't remember the last time we had a "smog alert"
And yet, you listen to the likes of Gore, and now Obama, basically declaring that not only is global warming upon us, not only is it a greater 'threat" than international Islamic terrorism, but that "the debate is over"....as in there will be no debate, shut up and pay for your carbon emissions
I heard that here in CA, they had this big Global Warming (oops), Climate Change rally, singing the praises of CA's efforts at curbing global warming, as if 1 state on the globe would have ANY impact of actual climate changes. And one of the biggest supporters of these legislative efforts at the rally, was a Democrat politician, praising Gov Brown and the legislation that the Dems passed, did so, while his FULL SIZED SUV was idling in the parking lot, AC running the entire time, so as when the rally was over, he could jump into his nice cool vehicle, on such a hot day.
