The Hillary Clinton campaign made multiple payments to a company that specializes in hard drive and document destruction, campaign finance records show.

The payments, which were recorded in February and March of 2016, went to the Nevada-based American Document Destruction, Inc., which claims expertise in destroying hard drives or "anything else that a hard drive can come from."

"Our hard drive destruction procedures take place either at your site or at our secure facility in Sparks, NV," the company's website states. "This decision is yours to decide based on cost and convenience to you. In either situation, the hard drive will be destroyed by a shredding."

"We have a dedicated machine for hard drive destruction," the website continues. "We will also record the serial numbers of all drives to be destroyed to be kept in our records. A copy of this log can be provided to you as well."

The routine services section of the site says that the company operates in 26 areas in Nevada and California, including Reno, Virginia City, Sparks, Tahoe City, and Carson City.

"Our equipment is powerful. Whether you require ON SITE or OFF SITE service, performed at our Sparks facility, large volumes can be quickly destroyed regardless of staples, clips or fasteners," the site says. "Office paper, folders, binders and computer media can be destroyed in just minutes. As a result, we pass the savings on to you! A new service we also offer is computer hard drive destruction, either ON-SITE or OFF-SITE."

"ADDNV, Inc. ensures that even small amounts are economical to have destroyed. ADDNV, Inc. encourages our clients to visit the Sparks facility to observe the shredding of your documents. The added bonus with ADDNV, Inc. is that we offer personal service whenever you need it. We can be reached locally and our customers are more than just account numbers in a large franchise."

Transactions from Hillary for America to American Document Destruction, Inc. were made to the Sparks, Nevada location.

The first payment from the campaign to the destruction company came on Feb. 3 in the amount of $43, Federal Election Commission filings shows.

Two additional payments of $43 and $58 were made on Feb. 21. A fourth payment of $43 was made on March 26, bringing the amount paid to the destruction company to $187.

The Washington Free Beacon contacted American Document Destruction, Inc. to inquire about its rates.

An employee for the company said that it charges $10 per hard drive and $5 per cubic foot of paper. The Clinton campaign could have destroyed 14 hard drives or shredded 37.4 cubic feet of paper at those rates.

The Clinton campaign did not return a request for comment about what documents it paid to have destroyed.

This is not illegal.

So she has good security ans protects her records. Of course, you would have preferred that these would have fallen into enemy hands.

Meh.

This is pretty ordinary.

Unless some of the services were done AFTER a court order to preserve documents, that would be different.

This stupidity has been dragging on for well over a year.
Either it is a witch hunt or they are incredibly incompetent.
Probably both.
The national security was clearly not compromised.

What would be the result of competence ?

I think the President has made it clear that he has a low tolerance for competence on this score.

Not really.
President Obama is a bonehead in military matters , which is a good way to waste opportunities and also get a lot of people killed.

President Obama kinda phones in his homework sometimes , like when he wanted the Affordable health care bill, he did not write any of it himself, there is really no reason to think that he read much of it either.

But when he wants to obstruct justice and protect his cronies from inquiry and prosecution , he has those skills much more developed than either Bush ever did, could this be what you are referring to?

Oh wait!

I just realized , this is dated.

Ok , destroying records when you are under subpoena is an obstruction of justice therefore a crime.

Why isn't there any indictment  ?

That would be because no laws were broken.

Hahahahahaha!

I have been warned that if I bring a flash drive to work that would be grounds for firing .

Why?

Because breeches of security are that important.

At HRC's level of Ubermaness she is a law unto herself.

So if she wants to circumvent the FIOA entirely , she will construct her own spillway on the dam holding back our secrets.

Don't you think the FIOA a good idea?

Hillary is probably above your pay grade. And she probably has her own server before you were warned about this

You want to talk about stupid rules.
National security is the real issue here.

If there were a real threat and if this were actually important, they would not have been piddling around for nearly two years.

The Forces of Evil known as the GOP have been trying to smear Hillary since 1995. They instructed Rush and others to to do this.

Honestly....anyone in any party....Republican or Democrat... that did what Hillary did...setting up a private server at the house...to conduct highly classified gvt national security communications...should be in jail...or at the very least disqualified from ANY elected office.

If taxi cab driver Guccifer got in to Hillary's server....what in the hell do you think Iran, China, Russia, North Korea and others did?

Does anybody with even a pea sized brain think it ok for the Sec of State to have a private server installed in their own home to conduct highly classified US business?

Being as it resulted in no problems whatever,  I fail to see this as important.

Being as it resulted in no problems whatever, ......

And how the hell do you know that??  So its ok to break Federal law so long as you're not aware of any problems??  Are you privy to all our intelligence assets across the globe, that may have been exposed, if not mysteriously "disappeared"?  Are you privy to all our security protocols, at embassies and consulates across the globe, that may have been changed due to "potential breakdown" of existing protocols, from some recently discovered hacking??

And no, I'm not aware of any breaches.....but that's the point.....her putting such massively secret stuff on her personal UNSECURED server is the height of both incompetence and recklessness, regardless if anything was actually hacked.  Odds are it was, and often.  But since it wasn't someone like Snowden who did any hacking, and would expose it to all, those Foreign government's cyber divisions that likely hacked her server aren't going to divulge what they found out.  They'll either:
a: use it to degrade our national security ability
b: sell it to those (like Islamic terrorist organizations) who could possibly use it to degrade oujr national security ability
c: use it to blackmail the Clinton's
d: multiples of the above

And in all those cases, we wouldn't know any of those "problems"....not until well after inauguration...if then
