one armed person in a group of three hundred is one third of one percent armed.
From your point of view this is much better safety than the whole rest of the country where about one third of the total are armed.
So if your are correct in your assumptions, the conditions in that nightclub were almost exactly one hundred times better for safety than the country at large.
This leads me to doubt your assumptions.
Venues with more guns do not have greater risk in proportion.
And in terms of mass shootings , the most common similarity of them all together is being a gun free zone.
I go into gun free zones when I have to, but I do not thereby feel one whit safer.
