It really should not be the governments business to reform religion, tell us how to think or use force to make our thinking fair.


This snippet is from a longer address on the subject of Abortion, but that does not matter.

  There is no subject in which it is proper for the government to tell the people of the US how to think or what to believe.

Where does this premise come from?

The government has plenty of rights to tell us what we can and cannot do.

Most of our rights end where they must to avoid impinging on the rights of another.

What makes Abortion a right above all other rights?

Such that the right to kill is greater than the right to live.

According to Christian theology, there IS NO SUCH THING as innocent life: every single human being is BORN IN SIN because of Adam & Eve's taking unwise culinary advice from the famous talking reptile.

If having an abortion is a MORAL CHOICE then that choice belongs to the pregnant woman.
Note that none of the Forced Birthers advocate punishing the woman who makes a choice.
If aborting a fetus is killing a human being, then why don't they try women who have illegal abortions as murderers?
There are probably many who would like to do this. It is what happens in El Salvador.
They do not do this, because it would reveal that they are simply woman haters.
They would rather force her to raise a child she does not want.
There is no logic in their argument at all.

This isn't about Christian theology, Dr Deflection.  This is about human life.  Is it or is it to be protected and defended??

Women can do anything and everything with their body, with who and however many they want.  Wear protection, force the male to wear something....whatever, so you can shove that notion of control back into the garbage heap.  Just no killing of an innocent human life that has no say in the matter

OF COURSE it is about Christian theology. You want to force women you have never met to bear children they do not want.
You do this because you want to punish them for sleeping around or perhaps you just hate women.

Of course its not.  I understand this need to argue a point no one is making, but "innocence" in the context being used has nothing to do with sin, or theology, or Christian.  It has to do with having done nothing to justify a death sentence.
