Let me get this right.

Congress goes on a fishing expedition concerning the US Attorney firings and it is Bush who is itching for a fight?

I don't believe Bush started this one.

Congress is exercising oversight. That's part of what a co-equal branch of govt. does.
Bush ain't the whole tree.

Dean mischaracterized the sequence of events. And no one said t5hat Congress could not exercise oversight. It would be nice if they could tell us of a law they suspect might have been broken.

To imply that Bush set this up so he could pick a fight with Congress is rediculous and flat out wrong.
