Obama Wins Wis. for 9th Straight Triumph
By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent

Tuesday, February 19, 2008

(02-19) 18:38 PST WASHINGTON, (AP) --

Barack Obama won the Wisconsin primary Tuesday night, his ninth straight triumph over
a fading Hillary Rodham Clinton in their epic struggle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Obama cut deeply into Clinton's political bedrock, splitting the support of white women almost evenly
with the former first lady and running well among working class voters in a blue collar battleground,
according to polling place interviews.

Is Hillary better off losing Wisconsin? My friend S called with a so-crazy-it-might-be-true theory about the Democratic primary contest, which is this: Hillary does best when Democratic voters sense she's about to get brutally knocked out of the race, as in New Hampshire. That prospect taps a well of residual sympathy for a woman who has devoted her life to politics, etc. But when Hillary is triumphant she seems arrogant and unbearable, and voters feel free to express those perceptions at the polls. It follows that Hillary will do better in the crucial states of Ohio and Texas if she loses in Wisconsin and has her back to the wall. If she wins Wisconsin, and holds a big happy victory rally trumpeting her newfound momentum, the result will be a another surge of support for Obama. ... In other words, it's not that there is no momentum from a primary victory this year ("nomentum"). There's reverse momementum ("mutnemom!"), at least where Hillary is concerned. If she wins a primary one week that makes her more likely to lose the next one. ....

Think she needs to cry again?

It's my understanding that I can vote in either primary here in Ohio. If that's true, I'll pass on the Republican primary and vote for Obama.

I'll wear my Sharpton for President t-shirt when I do it.

Give Hillary a chance. Come on.. Perhaps she has more to offer than we realize.

She might have more to offer this nation than we realize. She has been around a lot longer and when it comes to children, health care etc....she has proven to at least have a passion for change in terms of programs that work. I support her. I do. God, I have come full circle, but the child is at the base of this turn around. Obama is ok...but Clinton has been around a lot longer and I do believe she will rally to the plate. But, we need more than any politician can offer this nation /this world. .. of course we all know this.....we need extreme makeovers. We need risk, chance, passion and peace.

This will become the century of earth's healing and hearts reaching out to that which is spiritual. Not right wing religion...but love. You wait and see.....we need more of the power of love.

Not power in bullets.

Conventions are supossed to be brokered. That is where they decide who to run. It's not suppsed to be the Oscars, where they award prizes.

There won;t be any riots, either.

None of you will vote for the Democrat anyway. Why should you care?

Yeah because Obama is kicking her ass so bad she can't dare try steal it via superdelagates

None of you will vote for the Democrat anyway.

I say "vote Obama in the primaries".
We stop the witch
and we guarantee huge Republican gains at mid-term 2010 (if Obama gets elected)

Why should you care?

Because the dems have a good chance to win in nov and
we dont want a Witch in the White House with her goofball husband in tow.
Face it, Hillary & Bill are has-been losers.
She should go ahead and quit now and avoid further embarrassment

That didn't take long....screw the majority of the electorate who wanted Obama, screw the people who voted, and wished to be part of our democracy.  Counting votes doesn't matter....unless of course we're trying to claim how the GOP steals elections, then every vote is supposed to count, even the illegal ones.  Priceless Xo....priceless        8)

I am all for the Democratic Party choosing the Democratic candidate according to their own rules. I haven't decided whether I would favor Hillary or Obama, I didn;t vote for either of them in the primary. But You ratwing assholes look like the fools you are by constantly blathering on about how much you hate Hillary.

If Obama gets the nomination, you will turn your hate on him.

The fact remains that Juniorbush is the absolute worst president that has ever been inflicted on this country, with the possible exception of Jefferson Davis.
