BSB was alright until he started letting things get to him. As long as he was calm and I could talk with him, we got along great. Problem was, sometimes it was hard to tell what would set him off, and then he didn't seem to get along with anybody. And it didn't help that some folks seemed to love setting him off.

Who was BSB?

No one liked to set Richiepoo off. He set himself off by posting annoying statements.

Oh, on the contrary, Rich might get annoying & insultive (no greater than Zoso, or knute), but if you knew what buttons to push, you could easily set him off.  Terra was great at it.

BSB is a cool war veteren, who had massive anti-war positions, that you would have loved Xo.  But unfortunately, as H has referenced, allowed some issues to get far to personal, and IIRC was even threatening some folks.  Quite a personality, and deserves great respect for the service he gave to this country.

Yes, he suffered. He certainly did. I know the story, but I can not go into his personal life here. The man had his reasons for joining the board. He was a gentle man who suffered big time. There is a big difference between BSB and the men of whom you speak here. BsB had a heart even when he was pissed off. A couple of these men.... remaining nameless....seem to be a bit narscissistic. Some even border on hatred for women.

 Dave is a good man.

Xavier, he used to talk about you from the Phoneix room days. I have read posts between the two of you. He once told me that you were very intelligent.

Oh well, He's happy now. I am happy for him.

Good old Buddhist that he was/is.

A hero for sure.

Bullsheet Buddha.  Then it changed to something else, maybe Buckshot Buddha, but with the same BSB initials.

Yes, he did change it to BSB but it was also buckshot and bucksheet before that. I didn't know him in the bucksheet days. LOL
