I am waiting for a Democratic ad asking the same questions the same way about John Insane - - from his role as one of the Keating Five, to his support of the war, to his "100 more years" and his "dunno much about economics" and his flip-flops on torture, failure to come to grips with the split-up of Czechoslovakia and references to the Iraq-Pakistani border, grimacing and hiding his face during the "Viagra" question - -
You don't need a Democrat ad for all that. Keith Olberman rants about it on a nightly basis. It's there for anybody to see--if you can stomach it.
is this guy just too old, tired and confused to lead? do you want HIS finger on the button? do you want HIM answering that phone at 3:00 AM?
I'd rather have McCain's finger on the button than Obama's. Because, I believe, Obama would not actually press that button any under circumstances, no matter the catastrophic attack on the United States. He is a Jane Fonda liberal. And he would roll over for Al Qaeda.
Without a teleprompter, Obama really won't have much to say if he answers that phone at 3am. "Uh... um...uh...uh...uh."
Besides, McCain will already be up at 3am going to the bathroom, so it really will be no problem for him just to get the phone.
This was a really creative ad by the McCain campaign. It exposes Obama as the inexperienced lightweight that he is, and it has generated probably 10 to $15 million in free media. McCain's "Summer of Love" ad was probably the best ad I've seen in a while, but this one goes up there as a game changer for this election.
