Gee, I dunno, what's the point of fighting for the right to vote if you are constantly accused of being too dumb, lazy and irresponsible to exercise it?

Who doesn't have the right to vote?

That was a purely rhetorical question, BT.  I was just making the point that those who DID have to fight for the right to vote did not let others define them.  If you are going to choose between being part of the solution or part of the problem, how others define or see you should not be a factor in making that choice for yourself.

Then i guess you won't mind if we reject your claim that the ad is racist and that it has subliminal appeal to the american voter, by your definition, racists all.

Thank you for conceding the point.

<<Then i guess you won't mind if we reject your claim that the ad is racist and that it has subliminal appeal to the american voter, by your definition, racists all.>>

Clearly you misunderstood the advice I was giving you.  It's not worth repeating, so I'm just going to let it go.

Of course I don't mind if you reject my claim about anything.  This is a debating club.  I hope you will continue to reject any claims I may make, specifically my negative opinions about the U.S.A. and its current political leadership.

<<Thank you for conceding the point.>>

You are mistaken again: I conceded nothing.  But since this topic is pretty much exhausted, there is no real point in going back and re-hashing the last few posts to straighten this out.
