<<look Bozo she's the one that brought the topic up in the first place. >>

So what?  I already PUT that in perspective - - I said, she made a very small mistake trying to talk like a fan.  BFD.

<<plus mr sexist I know women that know more about sports than most guys...>>

LOL.  I don't know one.  Where do you hang out, in lesbian bars?  Why the hell would an ordinary, run-of-the-mill woman who is not a sports reporter, know one fucking thing about professional athletics?  They don't give a shit and there's no reason in the world that they SHOULD give a shit.

When you DO find a woman who's a sports fan, she stands out like a sore thumb.

Your world view is not THE world view. Try to keep that in mind.

Errr, there are more female sports fans than male sports fans in my office.

Coakley was an assistant DA, then a DA, for over 20 years in this state. She's now the AG. It would be impossible for anyone working in that field in and around the city of Boston not to know who Curt Schilling was. If you didn't know it means you worked very hard at being out of it. It's not quite the same around here as not knowing who Ted Williams, Larry Bird, Bobby Orr, Bill Russell, or Tom Brady, are, but it's close.

I am amazed at this being a close race.
