It is a mess, and it's BP's mess. Blaming the Feds for messing up and not forcing BP to do it right does not cut it for me.
I can go along with that , but President Obamas spokespeople proclaimed him on the job day one , as it turns out there isn't much role for him to play ,and pronouncements that they have a boot on the BP neck are not effective for much either.
Part of the Administration problem is sequential placement of feet in mouth , remove left foot from mouth replace with right , repeat and repeat.
In reality President Obama didn't cause the oil leak any more than President Bush caused a hurricane , but people expect a lot of a president , and the presidents staff are not always perfectly well spoken.
