Blech!

Whiskey tastes like silage to me. Of course, it's all a matter of taste.

Who would drink this? I suppose there have to be some people who might like the taste, but  I suspect the number of few.

i sometimes enjoy the taste of a mixed drink
Crown & 7/UP or SoCo & Coke...ect
so i suppose someone that enjoys the taste of a cocktail
but either has problems with alcohol or is the designated driver
might find this enjoyable on certain occasions
i've known guys that love the taste of beer
and will drink the O'Doul's non-alcohol beer
it's only natural they would come out with
something similar to mimic a a distilled beverage.

Taste is a personal thing. To me, bourbon tastes like silage and good Scotch whiskey tastes like iodine.

When I was very young, tomatoes tasted awful, but now I love them, especially the home-grown and ripened ones, rather than those pink cardboard like things from greenhouses.

There aren't too many things I really can't stand, but alcoholic beverages I find only tolerable.

My sister refuses to eat bell peppers, Chinese food and lots of other stuff.

They say whiskey is an "acquired taste", and I have to agree. I know I never drank enough to acquire it.

I like Oktoberfest beer, Pilsner and Viuda de Romero Tequila, rum and sloe gin, and I have yet to find a Malbec wine I did not like.

Pilsner Urquell is fine, but the beer made in Uruguay and sold under the brand "Pilsen" is more to my taste. Not quite so bitter.

Pilsen - Transpiración\

Note the size of the bottle. That is the usual size, just enough for a buzz.

Argentina's best selling beer, Quilmes, comes in the same size bottles. Here in the US, alas, Pilsen comes in 11.5 oz bottles.

My favorite US beer is Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I stopped drinking 32 years ago but before that I did some VERY serious drinking. I like the taste of bourbon. I drank Wild Turkey 101(proof) straight up with ice cold water and a slice of good chesse as a chaser. Man, that's living. For the price you can't beat it. It's got a good kick, it's aged, at least 8 years when I drank it, and it's relatively inexpensive for a high quality bourbon.

I never really drank silage,  but I have been around it. many of my HS classmates lived on farms, every farm had a silo, and every silo was filled with silage. it has such a potent smell that it becomes a taste in your mouth.

I can't recall ever trying Wild Turkey, or eating cheese with it, either. I have never been much of a drinker.
