Ok I'll pretend you juut can not even fathom such a scenario.

Do you think there are not doomsday scenario management plans within the US Government?

First let me say that your implication that I hope this happens is total nonsense.

I said IF we have to have a dictator I hope it would be someone like Ron Paul.

Ok.....if we have a catastrophic economic collapse of banks and it caused a run on banks and business collapse......if unemployment reached 20-40% and there was no banking system.....people were losing all their savings.....China and others call all their loans.......if no one has any money....very soon rioting would ensue....there would be a run on grocery stores.....product transportation would grind to a halt.....electricity could be touch and go in some big cities......it's possible martial law would have to be declared.....hell they almost declared martial law in the LA/OJ riots......this would make that look like patty cakes......once martial law is decalred all bets are off....the national guard would be overwhelmed with an angry well armed citizenry and an "emergency bill" could be passed "until order is restored"...........I could easily see the military naming a "temporary dictator" if things spiraled out of control.

Again hopefully it wont happen.....but I bet the doomsday economic scenario was discussed in Washington in recent days and behind closed doors I am sure these type of scenarios(what could happn as far as civil unrest)) were discussed.....if a total economic collapse happened in such a pampered spoiled well armed racially divided society I promise you XO it would not be pretty at all!
