Women are hardly a minority. There are more women voters than men voters.

At some time there will be a woman elected president in this country. I think the main reason this has not happened yet is that the people who buy our elections are nearly all men, and they do not trust women.

This country has pursued a policy of perpetual war since 1950. The military-industrial complex is a reality and essentially has veto power over any candidate. Women are too peaceful to trust with this legacy.

Most countries that have had female heads of state have some sort of parliamentary system and none of them has anything like our policy of eternal war. I would bet that Canada will have a female PM before we have a female president. But this also depends on the presence of a highly qualified woman. Hillary is the best qualified woman that we have ever had up to now. She had the Oligarchy running scared for quite some time, as we noted by Limbaugh's constant hammering on her and "feminazis".

She was probably the most racist person in the White House in this century, but I really don't think that it made a lot of difference, as race relations until the 1950's were entirely up to the states, and many of the states, even northern ones, were quite racist.

Theodore Roosevelt invited Booker T. Washington (who was the presumed leader of all Negro Americans) to dinner at the White House, and got a lot of flak from it. It was not until Eleanor Roosevelt that the White House made any formal overtures to Black people.

Watch and see how much the Romney / Ryan campaign wants everyone to vote AGAINST the President, who has managed to wind down two wars and keep the economy growing in very difficult times.

At the moment, most of the financial problems are the result of bad decisions made by people in Europe over whom no American politician had any control.
