This ad should close the deal in Ohio

Rasmussen has Romney up 2 in Ohio. Gov. Kasich has said Romney is going to carry the state. Here's a good, solid ad to close the deal and bring this baby home.

Who Will Do More?

Romney will be crushed in Ohio, and that is just what he deserves.

Er, no, Romney is going to carry Ohio by up to 4 points. What did you think of that ad? Pretty uplifting, huh? Did you know that Lee Iacocca and the Detroit News endorsed Mitt?

This was a good book, by the way...

Iacocca had maybe four good ideas. The guy was a huge ego on a stick.

I hardly think that his endorsement will amount to diddly. Maybe a bit more than Roger Smith's, but not by much.

I think all Republicans and their ads suck dead airedales.

This may appeal to you, XO. I actually picked up that Iacocca book at a yard sale for 50 cents. It was a good read. I think the Detroit News endorsement may change some votes and have an impact. They point out that it has actually been Obama that has been misrepresting Romney's position on the bailout. The Iacocca endorsement was perfect for that ad.

Sorry, Hnumpah, the ad is accurate and very devastating to close out this race.

Maybe technically accurate, but it does not tell the entire story. But then again, why should I expect the clique in here to do any better?

We do need another clique.

Maybe two more cliques.

I read Iacocca's book several years ago. It was interesting, but the guy is really heavy on the self-promotion. There are lots better books on the car industry.

The 1964 Mustang was a marketing triumph, but the car itself was mostly just a fancied up Falcon. Mustangs since then have ranged from great to awful (the worst was the 74 Mustang II).

Somehow I doubt that Romney would put things in his ads that would help Obama. How weird would that be? The ad was accurate, which is more than we can say for some of Obama's ads that have received 7 Pinocchios.

I had one of those!

You are right , I was disapointed in it quite a bit.

No ad is going to "close the deal" on an election.

That is just stupid.

Romney is full of lies. He has three positions on everything.

The only thing that Santorum and Gingrich agreed on was that Romney is a total flop. And it was the only thing that was actually TRUE. The guy is a lying chameleon, as well as a secretive tycoon.

He will be about as good a president as he was a Mormon evangelist.

Plane ol' buddy, hard to see how you're going to get them. Every time someone comes in with something Sirs and the Bobsy twins disagree with, the first impulse is to beat them down. I pop in every once in a while for sport, and I usually see X number of members and quite a few guest lurkers probably out looking around for a forum to join, but I always see just the same few posters, usually posting the same old party line from the same old biased sources, leaving out any facts that might be detrimental to their cause, and bashing XO. The only reason I bother to stay for a while is to bust their chops some and try to teach them to use their head for something other than a hat rack. It doesn't have any effect.

But it's fun every once in a while.

But it's fun every once in a while.

It is you I am thinking of.

If you don't mind that I make you welcome by picking at your facts and arguments, you are totally welcome as far as I am concerned.

I too think that balance is lacking at present, but I can't produce a desireable balance myself.

If you post more often , and point out whatever logical flaws and factual errors I may present , I shall call you generous.
