What are the figures on people who believe in perpetual motion machines?

Or that there is no limit on the size of government vs the economy that supports it?

The Harper's List has been a feature of the magazine ever since I can remember.

Of course, the Bible certainly makes it sound like Jesus himself believed in demonic possession and one of his miracles was involved in transferring demons from a crazy man (who was crazy due to being possessed) to a herd of pigs, who then went mad and drowned themselves.

The incident is known as "The Gaderine Swine".

Modern theologians claim that this was not Jesus' description of the incident, but simply the opinion of the disciples who were witnesses.

God had angels, and Satan has demons. It all balances out, sort of. So they say.

it would be hard not to believe in crazyness.

Demons and angels are far easier to disbelieve.

The Holy Mother Church claims that Satan was originally God's favorite angel. God, who is perfect, and certainly capable of perfection, designed and built a defective Head Honcho Angel, Lucifer (the Light Bearer) and some less charismatic follower angels, Beelzebub, Azuriel, etc. who joined him in a rebellion against God. Why he did this is pretty hard to understand. Was he defective, or did he become defective? Do angels going bad on us present a problem, and how would we address this? The Bible does not say.

I have yet to see my first angel. When I hear a bell ring, I look around to see if anyone has sprouted wings, but as of yet, I have seen nothing of this. I have not even seen anyone who could pass for John Travolta, let alone an angel.

God (being more powerful) defeated the defective angels, but did not destroy them and they went to Hell, which may or may not have been designed by God or Lucifer.

That was all so presumably people could have a choice between Good and Evil.

There are no figures as to the numbers of angels or demons that exist, the Holy Mother Church claims that God is the most powerful.

No, the number is not precice but is compared to the stars in the sky, and that one third were in rebellion and two thirds remained loyal.

=================================================================
I used to help assemble Ford Falcons at the Claycomo Assembly Plant, and we turned out about 400 cars a day. It was a rare day when even one turned out undriveable, and that was in the 1960's.

It sounds like we outdid God, and we never claimed to be perfect. a 33% defect rating would be unacceptable in any sort of manufacturing in this country.

Of course, God's first try was the Great Flood debacle. There were only six who were not rejectees, and the rest apparently had to be drowned.  One might expect better results from an allegedly Perfect Being. Keep in mind that I did not alter the events described in the Book, either.

 Think Edsels .

Not defective Edsels ,  Edsels in perfect shape.
