Yes two more years of the same and we might climb past the market point we had when Bush left office.

WRONG!

The DJIA was 12099 in the week ending Jan 14, 2008   Juniorbush left on Jan 20th.

The DJIA today is 13104.

The right lives in a dream world and plane and sirs are are dreaming that dream right here in front of us at 3DHS.  Romney lost because he dreamed the dream out loud in front of the whole country. You have to wonder if they'll ever wake up? Meanwhile, the rest of the country has real work to do.

So in your opinion , the President and all the members of Congress are just making noise when they pretend to know.

I find this plausable , but I suspect worse.

I think that the President and most of congress knows very well that they are doing harm , but would rather win with the failure of the country in the future than loose election now.

I guess you do not agree with Romney that a lot of people are dependant.

It matters not whether they earned or deserve to be supported, nor what purportion of them are wasted lives because they are dependant.

What matters is whether as a whole we have what it takes to continue to support them, the deserving and the undeserving will together get dumped in sudden suprise someday when our upcoming generation refises to work more for others than theyare allowed to work for themselves.

The point is that the market has recovered most of the losses. You claimed that it would take another two years. That is clearly untrue.

The highest point during the Juniorbush years was on or around Nov. 1st, 2007. The lowest point in recent times was reached on or around July 5, 2009.

Yes , I had not realised that there was such good progress .

I don't look at the DJIA every day , but I can't excuse myself for not observing it in recent months.

I might have been happy with it if I had.

My big investment is real estate , I also have some indexed funds.

If I continue to be wrong this way , I stand to make good money.

Quote
As debate began, Republican House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp heralded “a legacy vote” that amounted to a victory for his party because Democrats agreed to make permanent the tax cuts his party enacted in 2001 and 2003. Camp called the bill a step towards reforming the country’s “nightmare” tax code and described it as the largest tax cut in history.

Representative Sander Levin, the top Democrat on Camp’s committee, claimed victory because the vote shattered “the iron barrier” Republicans maintained for 20 years against raising taxes.

It fell to Democratic Representative Charlie Rangel to admit “this is no profile in courage for me to be voting for this bill” because “we created this monster.”

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/senate-house-faces-test-fiscal-cliff-deal-161832950--politics.html

Sometimes I don't like Charlie Rangel, sometimes I do like Charlie Rangel.

This time I like his assessment and don't like his vote.

Seems like he doesn't like it either.

The President has what he asked for , a symbolic spit in the eye of the rich.
