  Our government has plenty of power, but in theory, it cannot arrest you for doing something it has told you is permitted.

    But if you do get arrested , but beat the rap, your stuff might not get returned in the same state in which it was confiscated.

So don't get arrested , not even falsely.

I think you get a lawyer and proceed to sue their ass off, before a jury.
