meditation
« on: October 18, 2007, 07:40:52 PM »
I`m finally learning how to do it
I`m doing the breathing meditation
Oh My god!!
I had no idea how hard it is to do this
this will take weeks for me to do
I had no idea how much garbage was in my head.
I haven`t even made one minute
anybody have any tips
I need a empty white room (sound proof)
I got too much data in me

Try to concentrate on your breathing... it will help you to clear the thoughts from your head.

a very intersting ride
teaching myself meditation
I still haven`t gone very far
but I`m sleeping better and I discover a new state of mind.
this is a type of mind state that cannot be reached by concentration
it`s so subtle it takes awhile to get there
I cannot hold it for more than a few seconds
but I can achieve more things in that state than by simple concentration
can anybody tell me what I did?
am I doing it wrong?

found a new thing since my stay at the hospital, becauce I was so physically weak I figured out how to partially dissconect with my body and my cognitive ability increase alittle. I think that`s how stephen hawkings did it.

it not easy to do in a noisy enviroment.I had better recall.

Some of the best rest i ever got was when i was flying a lot. I would always get a window seat and i would close my eyes and focus on the engine sounds. And in those sounds i would try to find music. And that is all i focused on. An hour of this was the equivalent of 8 hours sleep.

My guess is you don't have a plane engine in your room but you could have a fan and that just might work as an object of your focus.
