They know he stands for change, but what exactly does that look like.

Certainly not this.

I know what you're thinking....that picture would make a great political ad!

They accuse me of being an optimist for believing that one fine day, civilized mature political debate will break through in this forum.

Call me a dreamer, but i still believe it possible. But apparently not today.

I'm still willing to bet that when the smoke clears, McCain is gonna be the next president.

I agree but not until McCain airs his political ad showing Obama & his family  poolside at the Mecca timeshare they use during Ramadan.

You do what you can , I appreaciate your effort in that direction , but I don't think that childisness is avoidable .

Note that when asked what Barak Obamas change would look like , you got a cartoonish photoshop of the other canadate with the soon to be former president , not any picture that would answer your question.

The entire Obama world is stuck for an answer to that question , they all hope and hope and hope that he does not mean everythhing he says , but does mean what he says when they like what he says.

When there is no straight answer , there is still misdirection .

The picture of BHO in a turban has been seen by everyone, it isn't important.

I think you're referring to the picture of Obama dressed in traditional Seikh attire. That was a real photo....and no, it wasn't taken in Mecca.

McCain is just getting warmed up. If you you enjoyed his blonde bimbo ad as much as it appears you did you have a lot to look forward to before November.

So is Obama setting himself up to be the victim?

Is this a pattern forming among dem candidates? Gore, Kerry, now Obama?

If there is a concern about a candidate it is wiser to address the concern rather than challenging the right of those to voice their concerns.

I think that commercial states a truth , with a humorous twist.

BHO is hopeing to slide into the Presidency on the strength of pure popularity.

Yes I know it is real , I also know that if I were offered a chance to wear such an honored garment amoung the people who were offering it I would not refuse .

Why should anyone?

<<The entire Obama world is stuck for an answer to that question , they all hope and hope and hope that he does not mean everythhing he says , but does mean what he says when they like what he says.>>

I think you summed that up pretty well.

Speaking for myself, I am NOT happy with a lot of the things Obama has been saying, but I HOPE he doesn't mean them, that it's just stuff he has to say to get elected.  Not the most honourable way to win an election, but Republicans have won much more dishonestly.   If I could vote, it would be for Obama, simply because I have figured out where McCain stands and what his abilities are, and I KNOW that he would be a disaster for the country, maybe not as big a disaster as G.W. Bush, but a disaster none the less.  Obama won't be a great President, but he MIGHT be able to turn the country off the disastrous path that it's now on, if he can shuck some of his campaign rhetoric and has the balls and the staying power to take on the War Party.

I don't want a debate because BHO or JSM deserve it , I wan't debate because I deserve it, if you are a voter you deserve a debate too.

I'm in agreement with you Plane.  Unfortunately most debates aren't debates anymore, they're soundbite conventions.  I'd like to see a hashing out of the issues before I punch my chad.

Wouldn't that make you the target audience for that kind of "humorous twist"?

I would never defend Obama if he approved an attack ad that insulted my intelligence.

BHO is hopeing to slide into the Presidency on the strength of pure popularity.

Don't kid yourself, there's a lot to be said about being popular when you're running for leader of the free world.

McCain is hoping to "slide" into the Presidency by giving us more of what has caused  75% of Americans to say we're going in the WRONG direction.

Yes, this from a guy who reads & enjoys bartcop. He puts together an entertaining site, most of the time.

Are you trying to hurt my feelings?
