So now Obama is Hitler?

This exploits the American people's total lack of any knowledge of any foreign language.

Probably exploits their inability to read subtitles too.

First you say Obama's people lie, then you put this foul thing on.

Obama has not accused McCain of being Hitler ever.

But you sure have plenty of Obama supporters that couln't compare Bush to Hitler fast enough, and now smoothly transitioniong McCain into the next greatest fascist dictator-wannabe.

<<But you sure have plenty of Obama supporters that couln't compare Bush to Hitler fast enough>>

Those were legitimate comparisons - - the similar uses made of the Reichstag Fire by Hitler and of September 11 by Bush; the plotting and waging of wars of unprovoked aggression accompanied by phony and totally unconvincing claims of victimhood; the declaration of one's own nation as being above and beyond the reach of international law.  I should also point out that the numerous differences between Bush and Hitler were always pointed out as well.

<< and now smoothly transitioniong McCain into the next greatest fascist dictator-wannabe.>>

I don't even know what that means.  Who exactly is "smoothly transitioning McCain into the next greatest fascist dictator-wannabe?"

The video clip, which BTW I would describe as clever and well-done, is much more offensive than any Bush-Hitler comparisons for the simple reason that there are good, solid grounds in reality for comparing Bush with Hitler, but absolutely none for comparing Obama with Hitler.

Kimba, the clip is from a Hitler movie probably made in Germany where a defeated Hitler is ranting and raving at his generals and advisers in German, blaming them for the coming defeat.  But the subtitles are in English and purport to be the words of Obama excoriating his own staff for not foreseeing the threat of the Paley nomination and being totally ineffective in stopping her.  In a Hitler parallel, he is blaming his staff for the imminent disaster about to overtake them all.   The voice is Hitler's (or at least Hitler-like) while the subtitled words are pure Obama.  Try to find a link on You-tube, it's really funny.

Like Hell, they were.  The only thing "legitimate" was how derranged so many folks on the left could get, by Bush

I just gave three specific examples of how in three separate areas the actions of Bush are very similar to those of Hitler.

But all you could come up with in reply was:

<<Like Hell, they were.  The only thing "legitimate" was how derranged so many folks on the left could get, by Bush>>

You did not have one single fact to put in opposition to what I just wrote.  Typically, all you could say was "like hell they were" and drag out the usual insult ("deranged," in this case,) with absolutely no specifics attached.  That's not debating, that's just childish feces-throwing.

Bush IS like Hitler in several ways, all of them low and criminal in nature, although totally lacking in Hitler's physical courage in battle, writing ability, oratorical skills and street smarts.  When you have any facts or logic to contradict this and other views of your intellectual superiors, let me know and I'll be pleased to respond to your posts, otherwise go play by yourself in the sandbox and don't disturb the grown-ups' conversations.

No, you gave 3 twisted assessments of connection, based on YOUR twisted version of current history.  You might have well said that Bush and Hitler were both men....there, proof positive

==============================
This is feeble logic indeed.

Some turd makes a film equating Hitler to Obama, and THAT is a reason to like Palin?

I defy you to explain how this makes any sense whatever.

Keep going.  I was already convinced of your intellectual bankruptcy, but there's nothing like proving it again and again, just to reassure anyone who might think you were about to grow a brain.

Three specific historical and fact-based similarities between Bush and Hitler, and instead of a fact-based or logic-based rebuttal, we get a sirs specialty - -the invective-based ("twisted assessments," "twisted version") rebuttal.  Sad to say, I expected no better.

<<You might have well said that Bush and Hitler were both men....there, proof positive>>

But I didn't, did I?  I in fact gave three specific historical examples, each going much further than saying that each was a man.

Shall I tell you what your problem is, sirs?  You're either too stupid, too afraid or too stubborn to admit an obvious truth.  Bush IS like Hitler, a lot - - admittedly, not as courageous in battle, with nothing of his writing, speaking, organizing or artistic talents - - but similar in their capacity to tell outrageous lies, capitalize opportunistically on whatever fortuitous calamities befall the nation, blame "others" for their own difficulties and also in their utter disregard for the value of human life.  But for some reason, you find this fact to be unpalatable, so you have to deny it.  But being a fact, the problem of course is that you can't find any real facts or logic to help you out with your denial, and so you have to resort to the only other weapon you have left - - name-calling, invective.  The comparison is "twisted," its base is "twisted," undsoweiter.  Once again, profoundly embarrassing yourself.  Poor sirs.

Did you ever see The Boys From Brazil, a film made from the Ira Levin thriller of the same name?  A group of demented Nazi scientists in Brazil are attempting to grow Hitler clones from Hitler DNA.  Well, Bush is probably what they would have gotten if the original DNA material had been badly damaged in a lab accident but remained barely viable.  In fact, that's the subject of my next screenplay.

Sirs has never been wrong. He is infallibility personified. The Pope has infallibility only on matters of doctrine: he cannot, for example, declare that the Bistecca Pizzaiola  is overpriced, and short the check a dozen Euros.

But sirs has infallibility on all matters, both public and private.
