New Delhi: Do mobile phones pose any health hazard? There have been a number of scientific studies over the past two decades with conflicting results, but a majority of them claim there is hardly any evidence to suggest that the gadget is unsafe."

BSB I have always thought there is a connection between cell phones
and brain tumors/cancer. I know there have been studies showing yes/no/maybe,
but I really think there is a connection. I also try to greatly limit using cordless phones
at home because those also mean you are slapping a battery up against the side of your
head. I bought one of these so when I have to be on my cell phone for long periods I avoid
having the phone/battery against my head.

I think you need to know how the research is done. It`s like powerlines has higher incident of illness, but the all studies show negative.

One time we were looking at some office space...little one story strip center type property
and when you were walking the property you could actually hear a buzz or hum coming
from the power lines.....NO THANKS!

BSB thats pretty much the case with me too. Sometimes someone will call me at home
on my cell phone and if I know it's going to be more than a couple of minute call I always say
"hey can I call you back in like 2 minutes?"....and I just hang up and call them back
on my landline.

Wow that's one way to deplete the younger voting block. Too bad for Dems, but wait, Obama care will fix those cancerous skulls and get those morons back to the voting booth.

since I`m too cheap to have a unlimited phone plan my exposure is much less than most people. so I may not be out of danger,my risk is much less. I hate long conversation on a cell anyway, most time we`re just repeating ourselve due to crappy reception.

I think it is the battery. I just hope I`m not the 1 in a 1,000 battery that tends to burst into flames.

lithium ion has a small chance of doing that, but it`s still there

not really since I rarely see lightning which is more likely to happen then cell explosions.but I read more cell incidents than lightning.
I even have a jpeg of a viao catching on fire.

Don't own a cell phone, haven't since right after 9/11 and i didn't need to travel as much.

My cordless phones all have headsets.

And voicemail is my best friend. If it's important enough to call me, it's important enough to leave a message.

Very unique. I hope one day they (the cell phone people) don't suck you in with a feature that you just have to have. You might end up being the Omega Man.
