....and please keep ignoring any and all attempts to actually discuss/debate any of the points being made, and for heaven's sake, avoid at all cost, backing up any/all accusations.     ::)

Sirs and XO seem to have some reciprocity going on , perhaps even equilibrium.

It is a tough game to show respect to a person as a person , while at the same time ridiculing that same persons deepest and closest thoughts.

I hope we can do it , reason is the hope of humanity to achieve peace
.

While I appreciate the candid assessment plane, a few things need to be cleared up, for a more accurate assessment

I respond......in kind.  I'm a very patient person.  Not as patient as you, Master Yoda, but indeed very patient.  I'd salivate at the idea that the Professor would actually put down the ideological talking points, and make an honest effort to actually dialog politics rationally, but at minimum, respectfully.  Doesn't require him to change party affiliation.  Just requires an effort to tone down the obnoxiousness.  I can't count how many times I've tried to engage in such an effort, only to be insulted at the drop of a hat.  I mean, look at his immediate response to your posting, for a perfect example of what I'm referring to.  After a period of time, I lose patience in trying to be respectful, and I'll rhetorically be more frank and direct in highlighting where he's wrong, including the appropriate back up.  We have yet to see any back up to the claims that Cu4 or myself are racist.  Can't seem to provide even 1 example of where I'm somehow defending the indefensible, while I've provided numerous examples, on the flip side

Point being, this isn't so much a tit-for-tat reciprocity game, as much as xo rants, I respond.  The more personal and derogatory he gets in his rants, aimed at me, the less respectful I get in my responses.  Apparently that's the inference of where no sense of humor comes in.  I try, and I'll keep trying, but my patience, and more so, expectation has some tangible parameters

No one thinking person's education is ever over, until they die.

I did not comment on sirs apparently rather sketchy education, but on his inferiority complex, which he masks with a phoney superiority complex that he has acquired from reading rightwing crap for the past decade or so.

Yea, the injection of Cheney was pretty much along those lines, I'd agree
