these guys are perfect,but thats because they grew up there. I`ve yet heard any american speak like this unless they go hardcore. also they are actually speaking honger which is a chinese/english mix dialect when they were really speaking chinese.

yes ,english is partially mixing into the chinese language

I don't think most Americans have even a minor clue as to HOW to act Asian. Maybe in San Francisco or the West coast, but not in most parts of the country.

  We are talking about cultural bias, accuracy is not required, after all intelligence is not really really "acting white".

I`m using it to learn real cantonese. in san francisco i`ll only learn a localized version of it.meaning my chinese will only be partialing understandable. people have told me i speak with five dialects mixed up

In Spain I was several times mistaken for a local, untill asked to speak.


My Spanish would not even fool a tourist, but  my taste in clothes must have been sort of European.

In Kenya the souvenier salsemen never mistook me for anything but an American and would greet me in  passable English, they would also greet the next tourist in his own language, I wonder where they were learning to do this?

Probably your clothes gave you away in Kenya. Kenyans can distinguish between members of different Kenyan tribes, at least some of them can. American Blacks are rarely mistaken for locals, even before they talk.

 had a nigerian lady work at the firm and  totally can tell she`s african not black. american black tend to think thier black,but africans think differently of blacks.

Some do, and I am sure that many African taxi drivers have also refused to pick up Africans as well. It is not so easy to tell the difference between people from a distance and a moving car.

One reason is that they are worried that they will be asked to drive to a neighborhood where they will find it difficult to get a return fare. Another reason is that they are afraid of getting mugged. I have never seen any figures on the race of taxi cab muggers, but this is based on rumors that may or may not be true.

I do not live in NYC and have never taken a cab there.
